West Indies team arrives in Pakistan for first Test series in 18 years

NEW DELHI: Monday marked the arrival of the West Indies cricket team in Islamabad for their first Test series in Pakistan in eighteen years.
Although they have visited Pakistan for two white-ball rubbers in between, the West Indies last toured the country for a Test series in 2006.

Prior to the first Test match in Multan on January 17, the visitors will play a three-day tour match against the Pakistan Shaheens in Islamabad starting on January 10.
The second Test will begin at the same venue on January 25.
With both nations finishing in the bottom half of the points table, the series will wrap up their responsibilities in the current ICC World Test Championship (WTC) cycle.
