Travis Hunter has been on the news for his Heisman Trophy that he became a recipient of on last weekend. But his would-be wife Leanna Lenee has been all over the media for all the wrong reasons. Now a 2022 video has resurfaced all over the internet where Deion Sanders is seen advising Travis about signing a prenup before marriage. This has again sparked controversy and has raised eyebrows about Leanna’s intentions.
Deion Sanders Gave Marital Advice To Travis Hunter In 2022
This video from 2022 shows Travis’ from his college football days with his coach Deion Sanders as Sanders is seen giving marital/financial advice to Travis. This has sparked reactions mostly because there are certain speculations about Travis’ fiancee Leanna. Many fans have assumed that Leanna is dating Travis for the fame and money he has – this has been refuted both by Travis and Leanna.
This controversy began when few months ago Leanna made a candid statement about their relationship and mentioned she did not respond to Travis for 2 months when he initially approached her and also mentioned that Travis “was not her type”. This did not go down well with Travis’ fans as many believe the real reason why Leanna did not respond to Travis for the first 2 months is because she was not aware of who Travis was.
To make matters worse, a recent video from when Travis was awarded the Heisman Trophy has gone viral where Leanna did not stand up when Travis was receiving the award. It is only when Deion nudged her, that she got up. This again did not do any favour to Leanna’s already ruined reputation.
Leanna Lenee Has Been Affected By All The Trolling
Leanna had shared her statement few days back where she addressed all these allegations against her and denied all of them – according to her, Travis was in a relationship with someone when he had approached her. This is the reason Leanna mentioned he “was not her type” – as in, she does not entertain committed men. She has also spoken about how she falls in love with people basis their heart, not basis how much they are worth.
Travis has also defended Leanna multiple times and has spoken about how people “are too invested” in their relationship. The recent trolling and hate have affected Leanna so much that she was forced to make her social media accounts private.

Currently, Travis and Leanna are six months away from their wedding in May 2025. After dating for 2 years, Travis went down on one knee and proposed to Leanna in February of this year. Deion Sanders’ video of advising Travis about prenups has resurfaced at the wrong time since Travis and Leanna’s wedding is now too near and fans are speculating again – whether this advice was meant for Travis’ relationship with Leanna.
