Following the attack, the Hyderabad police reportedly arrested eight individuals from Osmania University’s Joint Action Committee (JAC). They started pelting stones and tomatoes at his home and even damaged many flowerpots. The actor was reportedly not at his home during the incident. They were taken to the Jubilee Hills police station, with demands for one crore as compensation for the family of the 35-year-old woman who passed away during the stampede at Sandhya Theatre.
On December 13, Allu Arjun was arrested in connection to the incident. However, the Telangana High Court granted him four weeks of interim bail that same day, and he was released from prison on December 14. Many notable figures from the Telugu film industry visited Arjun’s home that day to express their support.

Earlier, on Saturday, Revanth Reddy accused Arjun of visiting Sandhya Theatre despite the police denying permission, a claim which Arjun promptly denied. Refuting the allegations, Arjun clarified that this was not true and stated that the police had actually facilitated his arrival, guiding him to the venue.
