In the tragic turn of events, the entertainment community lost a very young and talented star. ‘Otha Kholera’ fame Nepali child singer Sachin Parriyar, who was only 15 years old, passed away on Thursday.
According to media reports, the Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital in Kathmandu in a statement mentioned that the late child singer was receiving treatment there for over five years for various health issues.
Diagnosed with a congenital trilateral ventricular cyst, for which he underwent neurosurgery. Unfortunately, this wasn’t the only ailment that the young one was fighting. He was living with central diabetes insipidus, for which he was on a schedule of daily medication.
Before his demise, Sachin was admitted on December 28 with acute fever, seizures, and altered consciousness. His health deteriorated at a very fast pace, leading to complications such as pneumonia, multiple organ dysfunction, acute kidney injury, encephalopathy, severe infection, and a bleeding disorder.
He was sent to intensive care in the pediatric ICU, where he received ventilatory support, antibiotics, and blood transfusions. However, his condition only deteriorated with time. On the fifth day of being admitted into the hospital, severe pulmonary bleeding caused a lack of oxygen, and subsequently cardiac arrest.
Sachin Pariyar, though only 15 years old, earned himself a lot of love and fame. He sang alongside Kamala Ghimire, Karuna Rai, and Govinda Paudel.
His track ‘Otha Kholera’, highlighting both his singing and acting skills, crossed millions of views on video streaming platforms as of January 2.
As the news of his demise has come out, the entertainment community is mourning his passing away. The young artist is gone too soon. May his family get the strength to face the difficult time.
