She tweeted about the freezing conditions saying, “30 degrees in Texas and somehow my heater turned off in my home last night and it’s freezing…too cold for me.” It was a bone-chilling start to what would prove to be an even more intense day.

Randi shared her reaction: “I look over and the driver next to me is holding up the phone watching a movie… what?? Yikes???” It’s well-known that distracted driving is one of the leading causes of accidents, and Randi’s frightening experience is a stark reminder of the dangers of multitasking behind the wheel.
Fortunately, while Randi and others on the road were safe, the frightening moment was an excellent call to attention to the safety of roads and responsible driving.

A few days before the start of the new year, Randi also shared another update asking her followers to pray for her dad because his health had worsened again. “Prayer warriors, please pray for my daddy. He is in the hospital and is not well,” she posted.
Yet during the trying time, Randi has made attempts to make him smile, she celebrated his birthday with him on January 6th and made sure that she did not miss even a single moment with him. “Friday night visiting my dad,” she captioned, sharing a glimpse of the love and care she continued to provide in these trying times.
