Veteran actress Poonam Dhillon recently became the victim of a robbery at her Khar residence in Mumbai, where several valuable items were stolen, including diamond jewelry and cash. According to reports, the Khar Police arrested 37-year-old Sameer Ansari on January 6, 2025, in connection with the theft. Ansari is accused of stealing a diamond necklace worth approximately Rs 1 lakh, Rs 35,000 in cash, and some US dollars from the actress’ home, reports Aajtak.
Poonam Dhillon primarily resides in Juhu, while her son Anmol stays at the Khar residence. However, the actress also spends time at the Khar property. The police investigation revealed that Ansari had been at the actress’s house between December 28 and January 5 to paint the flat. During this period, he allegedly took advantage of an open cupboard to steal the valuables. In a shocking twist, it was later discovered that the accused had even hosted a party using some of the stolen money.
