Lucknow, India – Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport (CCSIA) handled a record 629,000 passengers in November 2024. This represents a 12% increase compared to 560,000 passengers in November 2023.
The airport averaged roughly 21,000 passengers daily, up from 18,600 daily the previous year. Two days in November saw the highest passenger counts this year: 22,686 passengers on November 10 and 22,986 on November 17.
Dubai, Muscat, and Dammam were the top international destinations. Delhi, Mumbai, and Bengaluru were the top domestic destinations.
“The festive season created a tremendous demand for passengers at Lucknow Airport. The addition of new flights and increase in frequencies by the airlines from Lucknow added convenience for passengers travelling domestically and internationally,” a CCSIA spokesperson said.
CCSIA offers flights to 29 domestic and 10 international destinations. The average daily flights also rose to 140 in November 2024 from 134 in November 2023. The airport is operated by Adani Airport Holdings Limited (AAHL).
