Lee Min Ho and Gong Hyo Jin have been featured as guests on the talk show ‘Salon Drip 2‘ as part of the promoting activities of their much-awaited space drama ‘When the Stars Gossip‘. The most popular program is known to be soft-hearted and played out but it was this very fact that made ‘Heirs’ star take his time on the site.
Host Jang Do Yeon, who is known for perfect timing for comedy, went all out on the claim of the actor that he was “comfortable with uncomfortable questions.” As pointed out by Gong Hyo Jin, Jang jumped right into the topic as she asked Lee Min Ho, “Are you seeing anyone right now?” That left him visibly flustered because of the sudden and direct question.
Teasing didn’t end there. Jang Do Yeon retaliated with a barrage of jokes, saying, “How many celebrities have you dated so far? Five? Or more? ” Lee Min Ho’s reaction was priceless. Struggling to hold a straight face, he stood up and walked to the door, saying dramatically, “Let me go to the restroom.” All of them, including the crew, burst into laughter at his antics.
Returning to his chair, Gong Hyo Jin teases him and asks what is the point of inquiring uncomfortable questions and later getting scared. Her witty tongue makes it even funnier.
The conversation eventually shifted to their upcoming drama. Gong Hyo Jin shared her excitement about the project, highlighting her previous collaborations with the drama’s director and writer. “In the past, I’ve always played ‘underling’ characters. This time, I’m the captain,” she quipped, earning laughs from the audience.
Lee Min Ho played along, hilariously admitting his role in the story. “Yes, I am the pawn,” he said. He continued to share why he picked this drama for his comeback on the small screen. “Unlike many space dramas, this one is full of humor. That’s what instantly attracted me to the screenplay,” he shared.
‘When the Stars Gossip’ will be one of the most awaited premieres this year as it promises to infuse comedy and intrigue about space exploration. The drama will be aired on January 4, and fans are eagerly waiting for the dynamic chemistry between Lee Min Ho and Gong Hyo Jin on screen.
