Who doesn’t like ‘Love Actually?’ The Richard Curtis directorial venture is often dubbed one of the best romantic comedies of all time and is also a terrific Christmas movie. The movie is adored by millions of movie lovers including Taylor Swift. However, some of her friends may not share her love for the film as her boyfriend Travis Kelce’s brother recently revealed that he’s not a fan of the rom-com.
The Kelces Had Mixed Reactions During A Rewatch Of Taylor Swift’s Favourite X-Mas Rom-Com
Taylor had revealed in a 2014 interview that Love Actually is her favourite movie, and she particularly spoke about one sequence which resonated with her the most. “Did you ever watch the movie ‘Love Actually’ where Hugh Grant’s voiceover says, ‘If you look around, love actually is all around?’” Taylor had shared during the interview.
However, Taylor’s boyfriend and his family recently sat down a rewatch of the classic film and had mixed reactions. In his New heights podcast, Kansas City Chiefs tight end reviewed Love Actually at his sister-in-law Kylie Kelce’s request. While Travis called the film “torture” in last week’s episode, he seemed to have changed his stance and called it “very interesting” and mentioned its “fun” plot.

The Super Bowl winner went on to say that the movie was well-acted and directed. “I actually enjoyed ‘Love Actually,” Travis said. His brother Jason however revealed that while he did not find it ‘unenjoyable’, he had issues with some Christmasy elements in the film.
“I will concede, it’s not an unenjoyable movie to watch. My issue is the Christmas aspect of it, and then also, just like the overall sentiment and lessons and overall values that it expunged, expounds, are absolutely horrendous,” Jason said.
“I’m giving an honest review, not swayed by an ulterior motive,” the former Philadelphia Eagles center said. “That’s what you get from Jason Kelce.”
Kylie however seems to be a fan of the film and sharfed her appreciation for the rom-com. In fact, this was Kylie’s second time on the podcast and Swifties are convinced that convinced that Taylor will make her debut on “New Heights” next month, as Travis and Jason have teased a “very special” guest recently.
More recently, Swift praised Hugh Grant who’s one of the leads in Love Actually. In June, when Grant tweeted about attending one of her Eras Tour shows in London and doing tequila shots with Travis, Taylor gave a shout out to him.
“As a long time Hugh Grant stan this tweet is very important to my culture,” Taylor replied via X.
