This is exactly what musical artist Jay-Z is planning to do while fighting a scathing rape lawsuit that states his name with Sean Diddy Combs. Jay Z, who is known for his power and influence in the industry, is expected to go to any lengths to ensure he doesn’t put a foot inside the jail. And in doing so, he reportedly has no hesitation in severing his relationship with Diddy.
For the unversed, a woman (referred to as Jane Doe) has sued Jay Z and Combs for her sexual exploitation. Her lawsuit alleges that Jay Z and Diddy alternately raped her at an after-party when she was thirteen, as reported by Blast.
Several motions have been filed in the case, and now reports state that Jay-Z is set to play any trick in the book necessary to avoid going to jail, including putting Sean Diddy Combs under the bus.
According to the Daily Mail report Jay Z plans to show zero loyalty to Sean Diddy Combs. The rapper has been clear about his priorities right from the beginning. He separated his name from Diddy after Sean was arrested in September on suspicion of crimes. And as the legal matters are proceedings, Jay-Z is very clear in his action plan that is entirely motivated to only protect him.
Many already know that Jay Z is suing the opposing attorney, Tony Buzbee, and he is doing so only to serve himself. He wants to ensure his and his family’s safety.
Further, Jay-Z’s attorney, Alex Spiro, earlier claimed that though it is adversized, Jay-Z and Diddy do not share a strong relationship. Their bond deosn’t go beyond professional boundaries.He stated that Jay-Z has nothing to do with Diddy’s case or let alone with Diddy as a person.
Meanwhile, the legal team representing Jay Z fought that the accuser’s claims are inconsistent. They have filed a motion claiming the evidence can be in danger once the accuser acknowledges making mistakes in her allegations.
