Netflix will be airing its first NFL broadcast on Christmas Day with a star-studded cast of teams and announcers, and quarterback Aaron Jackson reportedly more interested in Beyoncé’s halftime show. While speaking to the media on Monday, one reporter asked Jackson if it was disappointing that Beyoncé is performing in a halftime show that he cannot watch since he will be busy trying to beat the Houston Texans.

Some fans and Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson probably think that the Baltimore Ravens and Houston Texans will come out and play on Wednesday at a Beyoncé concert. Jackson, who said he is a huge Beyoncé fan, apologized to coach John Harbaugh and his Ravens teammates after praising Beyoncé’s halftime show during the Ravens’ game and plans to watch the entire performance.
“Nah, ’cause I’m going to go out there and watch,” Jackson said on Monday. “My first time seeing Beyoncé perform, and it’s at our game, that’s dope. I’m going to go out and watch—Sorry, Harbaugh. Sorry, fellas. I’m not even thinking of the lead, I was just thinking about seeing Beyoncé for the first time. No disrespect.”
Jackson is eagerly waiting for the first time to watch Beyoncé perform, ignoring the fact that the score is at half-time, and he even sings along with songs such as “Single Ladies,” “Crazy in Love,” and “Texas Hold ‘Em” on the sidelines. The Ravens clinched a playoff berth Saturday and will try to secure their 11th victory on Wednesday, as the battle for the AFC North between them and the Pittsburgh Steelers will be fought on Christmas Day.
Beyoncé will be performing live at the Baltimore Ravens-Houston Texans game on Netflix on Christmas Eve. Her first-ever live performances of “Cowboy Carter” songs will be during this live show, which will be streaming live on December 25. It will be up for a few hours on replay. Netflix, as part of its accelerating push into live sports, grabbed global rights to the NFL’s two Christmas Day 2024 games: the Kansas City Chiefs at the Pittsburgh Steelers (1 p.m. ET), followed by the Ravens-Texans game (4:30 p.m. ET).
The two Christmas games under Netflix’s deal with the NFL expire three hours after livestreaming in the U.S. and 24 hours outside the U.S. The NFL livestreams will have ad breaks even for no-ads subscribers. Beyoncé’s performance and the Ravens-Texans game will no longer be available for rewatching.

Beyoncé will perform with special guests from “Cowboy Carter.” She has performed at two previous Super Bowls, such as the 2013 New Orleans game with Destiny’s Child and the 2016 performance with Coldplay’s “Formation.” More details are yet to be revealed.
