Transgender actress Shubhi Sharma, who was last seen in the TV show ‘Dhruv Tara’ recently faced a severe health crisis after having a road accident during New Year.
She said, “I’m recovering, I didn’t celebrate New Year’s this time as on the 31st December morning, I had an accident. A guy on a bike hit me and ran away. But later police helped me, but after he apologized I didn’t file any complaint against him. It was a new year, and I wanted to start positively.”
She continued, “I was in hospital for a while and had all testings. By God’s grace, reports were normal. And the Doctor only suggested some rest. So, I didn’t party on New Year’s. Just started my 2025 by visiting, Sidhi Vinayak Temple and seeking blessings from Bappa.”
She added that New Year’s are special time as it marks her mother’s birthday.
She shared, “New Year’s, 1st day of the year is very important in my life. As the day marks my mother’s birthday. I’m very close to her. She’s the only person in my family who accepted me the way I am. She most of the time fought from the world for me. I’m thankful to her and will never forget the efforts that she made for me. My success is the result of her trust in me.”
Sharing her New Year resolution she added, “After working in TV serial, I wish to explore web series, films and reality shows. I want to play the lead in a TV show, hopefully, soon makers will think about transgender artists.”
Transgender actress Shubhi Sharma is known for her acting in the TV show ‘Aaina-Roop Nahi Haqikat Bhi Dikhaye’, She earned immense popularity for playing the role of Chanda in ‘Chand Jalne Laga’, and is also known for featuring in shows like ‘Saath Nibhaana Saathiya’, ‘Mann Kee Awaaz Pratigya 2’, ‘Saavi Ki Savaari’, ‘Nath’, ‘Ishq Ki Dastaan – Naagmani’ among others.
