With just under 13 minutes remaining in the fourth quarter, Kelce caught the 77th touchdown of his amazing career surpassing Tony Gonzalez for the most in Chiefs’ franchise history.
Thus, the popular icon has lent her support to Kelce’s fine performance. Kelce, meanwhile, completed eight receptions on 11 attempts for 84 yards in the 29-10 victory, bringing his season total to 97. This number makes the player the first in NFL history to complete seven straight seasons with at least 90 catches.

Taylor Swift is celebrating her boyfriend, Travis Kelce’s smashing record-breaking day on Christmas Day in her own way. Kelce, the record breaker, now becomes the all-time leader in receptions, receiving yards, and receiving touchdowns as compared to all the other members of the Chiefs, thus becoming the all-time Chiefs record holder in the whole NFL. The superstar supported Kelce’s win and record-breaking performance by “liking” the post which was tweeted by the Chiefs regarding his record.
Swift congratulated Kelce on his dominant performance on social media, despite not attending Chiefs home games during the 2024-25 campaign, as she only attended Chiefs home games during the campaign. Following the game, Swift ‘liked’ three posts from the Chiefs, NFL, and ‘New Heights’ social media teams following the game, all highlighting Kelce’s touchdown achievement.
On December 25, Kelce scored his third touchdown of the NFL season against the Pittsburgh Steelers, surpassing Tony Gonzalez’s record. “It’s everything to me. Tony’s been a mentor to me, he’s been there right there for me [with] any questions I’ve ever had,” Kelce said in a postgame interview. “I feel like I’m still trying to fill that guy’s shoes. He’s such an unbelievable competitor and I’ve got so much love for him. It’s an honor to be in conversations with him.”

In most instances, however, Kelce is believed to be the best tight end that has ever stepped on to the field.
