According to ESPN’s Buster Olney’s recent post on X, the Detroit Togers are now one of the teams who is busy “pursuing” and acquiring the star player. The post read as, “After signing Jack Flaherty and augmenting their rotation, the Tigers are one of the teams pursuing Alex Bregman.”
It seems like the Detroit Tigers are on a spree of signing talented free agents. In the last couple of weeks, the Detroit Tigers signed a one year deal with Gleyber Torres for a whopping $15 million, Tommy Kahnle signed a similar deal for $7.75 million, Jack Flaherty signed a deal worth $35 million for two years and Alex Cobb for one year for $15 million.
