But it seems like Taylor could not help Travis when the popular Instagram account Pubity asked its followers to send in votes for their favourite celebrities. Taylor herself was also included in the list but neither Taylor nor Travis could manage a spot amongst the 8 nominees which included other high profile celebrities both from the world of sports and entertainment.
Taylor Swift And Travis Kelce Were Unable To Get Maximum Votes
The top eight nominated celebrities include Lionel Messi, Ryan Reynolds, Keanu Reeves, Robert Downey Jr., Eminem, Margot Robbie, Lewis Hamilton and the super popular, Cristiano Ronaldo.
Fans trolled the couple for not making it to the nominations. A fan wrote, “Can I just say. Really proud of all of you to know Taylor swift out, thank you from the bottom of my heart”. While the winner of this friendly competition is yet to be decided, many fans are shocked that Taylor and Travis did not make it to the list of the top eight.
Taylor Swift, Travis Kelce’s girlfriend continues to be one of the most popular artists of all time. Her legendary Eras Tour generated a revenue of $2.2 billion and broke records. It has now become the second most attended tour in the world after Coldplay’s “Music of the Sphere.”
Taylor’s Eras Tour saw fans flying across the world to see Taylor performing at least once in their lifetime. Many fans also complained about the tickets being sold out within seconds. Travis has his own podcast, the New Heights podcast, that he hosts with his older brother Jason Kelce. The podcast has attracted a lot of engagement and the brother duo have now signed a deal worth a whopping $100 million with Amazon’s Wondery.
Travis also became a winner of the 2024 NFL Pro Bowl. Many NFL fans complained about how despite a poor run on the field this season, Travis won the 2024 NFL Pro Bowl because Taylor’s fans voted for him. Neither Taylor nor her boyfriend, Travis, have issued a statement about this yet.
While it is not known why Taylor and Travis were unable to manage a spot in the top eight, their popularity on ground level has increased by leaps and bounds. The general public is interested in every move that the couple makes as Taylor’s fans are “obsessed” with the couple. The couple welcomed the new year together and are rumoured to get engaged this year. However, the couple hasn’t confirmed this yet.
