As the demand for tickets increases, SA20 is warning fans and stadium-goers to avoid purchasing tickets for the anticipated third season starting on Thursday (9 January), from unlicensed vendors and online websites.
The only official outlets for tickets to SA20 matches are SA20.co.za, ticketpro.co.za or at the six stadium ticket offices at Kingsmead, Wanderers, Centurion, Boland Park, Newlands and St George’s Park. Spectators should avoid ticket offers via secondary – mainly online – ticket markets. Online ‘re-sellers’ – masquerading under a host of brand names – do not have any official access to tickets.

“There has been an unprecedented demand for tickets for SA20 Season 3 and we encourage all fans to purchase tickets from official outlets,” league commissioner Graeme Smith said.
“Tickets are promised, often highly inflated prices are charged and when the buyer asks about delivery, all is silent. We strongly advise not to buy from online ‘re-sellers’. Fans may be overcharged and never see tickets while losing their money. The only way to be certain of avoiding disappointment is to buy through the official channels,” Smith added.
The League, franchises, and the host venues themselves are powerless to intervene other than to warn against these online scammers.
The first match of the season will see back-to-back defending champions, Sunrisers Eastern Cape host MI Cape Town at St George’s Park in Gqeberha on Thursday.
