Shahid Kapoor’s action thriller Deva, directed by Rosshan Andrrews, continues its steady run at the box office.

According to the Sacnilk website, the film has collected Rs 26.65 crore in its first six days, with Wednesday’s (Day 6) early estimates standing at Rs 2.35 crore. The movie’s Hindi occupancy remained moderate at 9.29%, with morning shows at 5.14% and peak evening occupancy reaching 11.60%.

Deva | Song – Marji Cha Maalik

Starring Shahid Kapoor, Pooja Hegde, and Pavail Gulati, Deva delivers a gripping whodunnit experience. The film follows Dev Ambre (Shahid Kapoor), a sharp investigator who declares that he has cracked a murder case, only to suffer memory loss after a tragic accident. The 156-minute screenplay, penned by Bobby–Sanjay, Abbas Dalal, Hussain Dalal, Arshad Syed, and Sumit Arora, takes the audience through multiple twists and turns as Dev pieces together the truth.
Despite facing competition, Deva has received positive responses for its engaging narrative and Shahid Kapoor’s intense performance. With the first week nearing its end, the film’s box office fate will depend on its weekend momentum.
ETimes gave a rating of 3.5 out of 5 for the action thriller and our exclusive review reads, “Shahid Kapoor delivers a brilliant performance as Dev Ambre, balancing menace and vulnerability. There are moments where his actions are unpalatable, yet you find yourself rooting for him in some others. His portrayal of Dev before the memory loss (Dev A) and after (Dev B), showcases his range as an actor—his rugged persona intermittently resurfaces within the milder, confused version of himself. However, there are instances where his performance veers into over-the-top territory. Pooja Hegde is effective as his girlfriend, journalist Diya, though her character remains largely unexplored despite being the first to hint at a possible mole in the police department. Kubbra Sait delivers a powerful performance in her brief role as a cop, Deepti, but is frustratingly underutilised, and appears out of the blue. Pavail Gulati and Pravessh Rana lend solid support.”
