However, the singer has not yet released any dates for shows in Las Vegas despite including the city on a list of tour stops on social media. So, what should fans make of the Vegas leg of the tour?
‘Cowboy Carter’ tour stop at Allegiant Stadium
It’s rumored the megastar could add more dates in Las Vegas at Allegiant Stadium. This stadium has a 65,000-person capacity. However, it can expand to accommodate nearly 72,000 people for special events. Housing her upcoming concerts at this stadium makes sense with her other tour stops being held at similar venues.
Shows at Las Vegas Sphere
The Las Vegas Sphere, which seats 18,600 people, is another plausible option for additional tour dates. This venue has unique immersive video and audio capabilities. Of course, Beyoncé loves to go all out with her visuals at her concerts, making this a potential perfect fit for the Cowboy Carter and the Rodeo Chitlin’ Circuit Tour. It’s worth noting, Vegas is the least populated city among the places she’s performing. It has a total of about 2.3 million people in the metropolitan area. Meanwhile, some other listed cities have double this number or more.
Residency possible, anything goes
As fans know by now, the possibilities are endless when it comes to Bey. A rodeo or residency of some sort would make sense for this tour, and Vegas could be the perfect place to do it. And there’s plenty more time left in the summer following her last listed show in Atlanta. It is only a matter of time before fans know for certain what Beyoncé has up her sleeves for Las Vegas and the rest of the tour.
Fans can purchase general-sale tickets starting Feb. 14 at 12 p.m. local time at beyonce.com. However, there are many be pre-sale options ahead of the general sale ticket drop.
