Despite the absence of Kelce, Swift will attend the Grammys because she has received five nominations including the Album of the Year award for The Tortured Poets Department and history made last year as she secured her fourth top category win.

Travis Kelce, a star of the Kansas City Chiefs, will not attend the 67th Annual Grammy Awards due to his team’s Super Bowl preparations. The Kansas City Chiefs are preparing for their third Super Bowl, and the veteran tight end wants to ensure his preparation is flawless.
Kelce, despite his girlfriend Taylor Swift’s confirmed appearance at the event, had maintained his training for the game between the Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles on February 9. According to TMZ, star tight end Kelce maintains his commitment to his team that is preparing for a game of the year, in a move contrary to what people thought he was distracted from football by his big deal relationship with Swift, showing no worse focus on the field.
Kelce has not attended the Grammys consecutively as he missed both years due to his commitment to Super Bowl as in the previous year also when the Chiefs were warming up for their championship tie up with San Francisco 49ers in Las Vegas. Swift will be prominently seen on stage, and the host too is expected to win up to six awards. She is among the six times nominated, including ‘Album of the Year’, ‘Song of the Year’ and ‘Record of the Year’.
Though the couple will not walk the Grammys’ red carpet, Swift and her family are said to attend the Super Bowl in New Orleans in support of Kelce and the Chiefs. She played a vital role in last year’s win when she and her family were cheering for him from the stands.
